Jun 22, 2019 . If your Tiguan won’t start, be happy if you see the check engine light. The OBDII codes stored in the computer can really help diagnose the issue. 1. Fuel Issues. If your Tiguan isn’t getting enough fuel, or any fuel at all, it may have a bad fuel filter, bad fuel pump, or bad fuel injectors. Without the proper amount of fuel getting into the combustion chamber, the Tiguan will crank, but not start.

SOURCE: Battery dead on 2010 Volkswagen tiguan. keyless. The end of the door handle (the part that doesn't move when you open the door) is actually a plastic cap under which hides the real keyhole. There is even a key-sized hole at the bottom of it which you can feel with your finger. Just pry it off and you're good to go. Posted on Dec 12, 2009

The "reading lights" in the ceiling of the back seat of my VW Tiguan won't go off, unless I lock the doors. When I click the button by the lights, they won't turn off. I'm afraid if I don't lock the car (like I ordinarily would if it was in the garage)m the battery will die. I have checked, and even when the car is turned off for, say :30 or more, the lights stay on.
