The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 's top speed is claimed to be 194 mph. That top speed applies, for now, only to the base mid-engined Corvette Stingray. Versions equipped with Chevy's optional Z51 Performance package achieve a lower top speed.
The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe starts at $56,590 , which is the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) plus $1,095 destination charge. The convertible comes in at $65,590 before options. The Grand Sport coupe/convertible models start around $10,000 higher.

The C8 Z06 won’t be a half-second quicker than its predecessor, but it will definitely hit 60 mph in around 2.7 seconds. That’s as impressive as it gets and puts the Z06 above competitors like the Ferrari F8 Tributo and Lamborghini Huracan Evo. The Z06’s top speed should also be superior to the C8 Stingray.
The Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 is expected to arrive for the 2022 model year with a high-revving V8 engine, aggressive looks, light weighting components and higher levels of performance aimed at all-out track capability.
The 2021 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 is an upcoming, higher performance version of the eighth-generation Corvette. The C8 Z06 will be the first model of its kind with a mid-engined layout and, much like its predecessor, it will slot between the regular C8 Stingray and the upcoming C8 ZR1.
The motor will feature a Dual OverHead Cam (DOHC) configuration with 32 valves and is expected to feature a flat-plane crankshaft for quite the high redline, between 8,500 and 9,000 rpm. Power is expected to be 615 horses, while torque should land around the 490 pound-feet mark.
