20th Century Fox Home Entertainment was the home entertainment division of 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios) and its related divisions Fox Searchlight Pictures and Blue Sky Studios.
In 1979, Fox purchased Magnetic Video from Blay, reincorporating it as "20th Century-Fox Video" in 1981. In Australia, it was one of the Magnificent Seven home video distributors.
Originally founded in 1976, it served as its own distinct home video distribution arm of Fox Entertainment Group. On March 20, 2019, The Walt Disney Company acquired 21st Century Fox, and as a result, 20th Century Home Entertainment's operations were folded into Disney's own home entertainment division.
On UK tapes with this logo, a British announcer says "20th Century Fox Video presents". Sometimes, this would plaster the film's original Fox logo (or if no logo is shown at the start, be added to the start) on a few Fox titles such as the 1982 reissues of Silver Streak, The Omen, and The Turning Point.
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment was the home entertainment division of 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios) and its related divisions Fox Searchlight Pictures and Blue Sky Studios.
The company was founded as 20th Century-Fox on May 31, 1935, as a result of a merger between the film companies 20th Century Pictures and Fox Film Corporation. The structure was introduced without any searchlights (despite the fact that the on-screen logo used them) in their first print logo.
The Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, LLC moniker has been reduced to copyright holder for future 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures home media releases, while it takes the "20th Century Studios Home Entertainment" name; as revealed on its official site and Twitter page.
