You could also use a flow chart to provide the user with directions. Think about your product and how each method might be of use when writing your user manual.

Creating Appropriate User Documentation. 1. Define who your user is. To write a successful user manual, you need to develop a profile of your user, either formally, by creating a written profile, or informally, by taking the time to make reasonable assumptions about your user's characteristics.
A user manual consists of textual visual information (illustrations, screenshots, tables etc.) to assist the user in completing specific tasks. The user plays the central role when drawing up a user manual. A well-drafted user manual only provides that information that is relevant for the intended user of the product.
Include a product summary at the end. The summary should go at the end of the manual, just before the index, in order to provide basic steps of operation. This should be a simplified, stripped-down version of the operational information section, and should be no more than one page.

Pixabay is a great option to get free stock photos from, but you still have to be careful. Not all their photos are free. There are some copyrighted images. A while back, I started a forum thread about this very topic.
Pixabay images are copyrighted by their owners and if any of your image that you upload on Shutterstock from Pixabay is reported you can get into a big trouble. The owner of the image can sue you for a huge amount and you might as well end up in prison.
