The AARC is providing these complimentary resources to encourage managers who have not developed time standards for their services to do so. Those with time standards are encouraged to selectively evaluate the need for updating them and to use these resources to do so.
Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program. The UCR Program's primary objective is to generate reliable information for use in law enforcement administration, operation, and management; over the years, however, the data have become one of the country’s leading social indicators.
Agencies participate voluntarily and submit their crime data either through a state UCR program or directly to the FBI's UCR Program. The latest UCR releases are available on the FBI's Crime Data Explorer. Historical publications (through 2019) are on the UCR Publications page.
Detailed, incident-based data is what the National Incident-Based Reporting System brings to the UCR table as it is set to become the UCR data standard by January 1, 2021.

The National Incident-Based Reporting System, or NIBRS, implemented to improve the overall quality of crime data collected by law enforcement. It captures details on each single crime incident—as well as on separate offenses within the same incident.
