Download AccuFlow software from Accusonic. Accusonic flowmeters utilize the multiple chordal path transit-time flow measurement technique which is designed for accurate flow measurement (±0.5% of actual flowrate) in large pipes and open channels.
The Accusonic Model 8510+ provides accurate, reliable flow measurement for applications ranging from full pipes to partially full or surcharged pipes, open channels, streams, and rivers.
Accusonic flowmeter systems have been used extensively throughout the hydro power industry to monitor flow rates in penstocks and low-head intake structures feeding hydro-turbine units. Accusonic flowmeters provide accurate and reliable flow measurement of cooling water in steam-generating power plants.
The only flow meter technology that measures volume directly is the positive displacement flow meter, however, other types of flow meters measure the velocity of the flowing stream to determine the volumetric flow. Examples of flow meter technologies that measure velocity include electromagnetic, turbine, ultrasonic, and vortex flow meters.
A rugged, impact-resistant case protects these flowmeters from damage. Rated for nearly double the temperature of standard panel-mount flowmeters for water, these can withstand up to 212° F. Install these flowmeters without disassembling your pipeline. Drill a hole in an existing run of PVC pipe and secure the flowmeter with the included clamps.
Variable area flow meters / rotameters are among the oldest and most mature principles in flow measurement. Based upon Bernoulli's theorem, these meters consist of a uniformly tapered flow tube, a float, and a measurement scale.
Totalizers measure the cumulative flow volume. Flowmeter/totalizers display both the flow rate and the cumulative flow volume. Measure the flow rate of water in your system.
