The SRB delivers such a wide, tall and engaging soundstage, you may not believe the sound is coming from the diminutive SRB. You will hear nuance and depth to the music. We believe you will hear many things you simply hadn’t before.

• What kind of material is an Acora loudspeaker made of?

  Acora Acoustics loudspeakers are constructed using hand-crafted, specially treated granite enclosures. The rigidity of granite far exceeds that of traditional particle board or wood enclosures.

  Introduced in December of 2018, the 92dB efficient One.R is a complex system with a High Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR) tweeter, two 5¼” cast-basket mid/bass drivers, and three 5″ x 9″ long-throw subwoofers coupled to four 7″ x 10″ quadratic planar infrasonic radiators that extend “usable bass performance” down to 13Hz.

  Ever since he was 16, Valerio Cora, the founder and self-taught designer of Acora Acoustics, has designed speakers with enclosures made from unusual materials including various types of rock. Countertops, sure, but speakers? Why granite? Because granite is extremely hard, dense, rigid, and well-damped.

• What kind of granite is an Acora loudspeaker made out of?

  Acora loudspeakers are made in Canada from a specific black granite from Zimbabwe called Nero Assoluto (Italian for "absolute black"). Cora says it's the strongest of all granites, with the smallest, most homogenous crystals, and is least likely to warp.
