The subfloor must be clean, dry and level. If you have a newly laid concrete subfloor you must check for moisture using a concrete moisture meter (the moisture content should be below 6%). Bamboo flooring is a natural product and needs to acclimatise.

Emission of VOC’s: Bamboo floor planks are manufactured by slicing or shredding the stalk of the Bamboo grass plant and then adhering the pieces back together using heat, pressure, and a resin-based adhesive.
Take care to protect the floor against standing water and from scratches. Because it is an organic material, Bamboo can be affected by mold if water is present. Bamboo can be discolored if it gets too much direct sunlight, so it is best to use shades or blinds in rooms that get direct sunlight.
