Like all Ubiquiti equipment, the Bullet is capable of being set in any wireless mode - access point, station, bridge, router, AirMax (for P2P/P2MP) AP/station. In this example, we're setting up the Bullet as a high powered 600mW WLAN to allow any laptop, mobile phone, etc. to access the local network & Internet.
Click “Select...” and Bullet2 will do a survey of wifi access points and list stations detected. I clicked “GoogleWiFi” because it is one of Google’s free Mtn View stations requiring no encryption. There are other sites (I blacked some of these out because you don’t need to know).

Overview: Bullet M is the latest version of the popular Ubiquiti Bullet. Like its predecessor, Bullet M is a wireless radio with an integrated Type N RF connector that can be directly plugged in to any Antenna* to create a powerful and robust outdoor Access Point, Client, or Bridge.
The Bullet AC integrates a separate Wi-Fi radio for fast and easy setup using the Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS) app on your mobile device. Accessing airOS via Wi-Fi
The overall range of the device is excellent, but the throughput does not produce as expected. The Bullet M2 does want to get above 10-15 Mbps of throughput. This is the case even when the device is direct connected to a network that has 50 Mbps throughput to the Internet. Other AP devices connect and max out without difficulty.
Bullet M eliminates the need to use RF cables and requires no special antenna or tools to install. No radio card / host board issues. No RF cable quality concerns. No mechanical stability concerns.
