Caddx vista stays in low power mode after arming

Low power means its overheating. Try getting in the air faster after plugging the battery in or adjust things so it gets more air flow. The temp sensor could be bad maybe? If so the warranty should cover it.

DJI FPV System FAQ - Common Issues, Questions and Tips

Low Power Mode. If you are getting “Low Power Mode” indicator on the screen, it’s not a warning, it’s just standard for the VISTA when the drone is disarmed. After you arm, low power mode would be disabled. Black Screen But Still See OSD. That’s typically the camera cable popping out just on the Vista / Air Unit side.

DJI Goggles Low power mode when armed with Caddx Vista

Vista has tmp protection, it will go low power if it overheats. Overheating there is built in :) that thing runs super hot, not even the transmitting part but the picture processing. Anyways, you can as a test go into goggle menu where you select power and switch off tmp control, if that fixes it you just need to ensure you are not sitting on powered up vista for too long before flying.

DJI Smart Controller and Caddx Vista not working properly

Low power mode is usually triggered by the air unit (DJI or Vista) being too hot. This triggers eventually on all of them if you do not have the motors running. The Vista heats up quicker, but this should not be a problem once you arm.

Caddx vista bad??? IntoFPV Forum

The Vista will only switch from low power to high power mode when it receives an "armed" signal over the MSP serial data connection from the FC, so if that connection isn't working then that is why the Vista will be remaining in low power mode, and also why you aren't getting the LiPo voltage displayed in the DJI FPV Goggles OSD.

DJI Digital HD FPV System - FAQ, Common Issues & Tips

As the DJI FPV system also transmits on 5.8Ghz band, it will interfere with analogue if the channels are too close. This is worse if you use 50Mbps mode as it uses a much wider band. If you wish to have less issue, try to stay on 25Mbps and a lower power such 200mW or even 25mW.

Caddx Vista HD DJI FPV - Page 5 - RC Groups

CADDX Vista does not idle at 25mW. It idles in low power mode, from the moment it's booted up, no matter how cool it is. This means you can't start recording before arming (even on the DVR which has nothing to do with the air unit). Also if it doesn't detect armed state properly the frame rate is severely reduced (visually stutters all the time) and

Caddx Vista HD DJI FPV - Page 2 - RC Groups

FWIW, the Vista has an extra "feature" that is pretty annoying. Whenever it's powered up and not armed, instead of just sitting at 25mW like the regular airunit, it immediately drops all the way to Low Power Mode (even when it's cold). That means you'll lose the video signal pretty much any time you drop it on the ground at any distance
