The cover will keep heat in the spa and help keep heat from escaping. Cover the spa. Make sure cover is on at all times when spa is not in use. See owner’s manual for cover info. The heater element may be old, deteriorated, or coated with scale. If scale has deposited on the heater element, heat will not transfer to the water properly.

Do not seal lead end of Cal-stat with silicone sealant materials such as oils, caulking or grease. Do not distort the Cal-stat shell. Unless otherwise specified, the standard factory set point is 75- F (24- C). The temperature setting of a Cal-Stat should be made in the following manner:

The CAL 9900 microprocessor based temperature controller provides precise control with a minimum of setting up, the advanced Autotune algorithm tunes all five control parameters automatically. The simple setting up procedure below is normally sufficient. specialised applic- ations may need the comprehensive 9900 features covered in this manual.
