The basic requirements of Calphalon’s lifetime warranty are that the: The company replaces each product confirmed to be defective with a new, identical item.
Calphalon will replace any item found to be defective in material or workmanship with the most comparable current item. We do not accept special requests, nor do we have the ability to upgrade in exchange for money. Products found to not be defective in material or workmanship will be returned directly to you with a letter stating why.
*Return Policy Exceptions. Due to safety hazards, items that use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned through the mail, even if the item has been drained of these materials. This would include (but is not limited to) items such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and any other items that use flammable liquids or gases.

With a great return policy and the right system in place, returns and exchanges can be transformed from a dreaded aspect of commerce into an opportunity that actually generates new profits for your business and increases customer loyalty.
As the name implies, a return policy should clearly indicate if customers are allowed to return purchased products or claim refunds on paid-for services. Elaborate on this further by detailing how customers have to return an item, what items your returns policy does or does not apply to, and what condition an item must be returned in.
