Clean Air wood heaters have been designed and developed in Australia, inspired by international trends and technologies. With our huge range of wood heaters, you will find the perfect Clean Air wood heater to suit your budget, style and home.
With regular maintenance of your wood heater, you will need to make sure the chimney or your flue is always properly and reguargly cleaned. It is an easy way to prevent build-up of carbon monoxide in your house by allowing air to circulate throughout your home.
It is also important to keep up with the maintenance of wood heaters to ensure the safety of your family. Flues and chimneys should be cleaned regularly to prevent a build-up of flammable material to ensure that the fireplace or wood heater is functioning properly. Other things to consider is to ensure that the wood you burn is dry and seasoned.
I think you need to check your calculations about running costs before you go ahead and replace it with another wood heater. Wood heaters are shocking polluters and produce large amounts of green house gases (fine and ultra fine particulate). They also pollute the air in and around your house and these particulate are a known cause of cancer.
