May 11, 2019 . The OP was attempting to use a save method that did not exist for his/her model. You don't necessarily need to soft or hard reset your keyboard to address this. A K70 LUX has the older the "save to device" option from within the iCUE menu. A K70 RGB MK.2 has 3 onboard profiles, so a save slot methodology is used.

When I try to do it it highlights yellow then back but doesn't save profile to device. You need to click the option to make it a “hardware profile” in screen shot 2. Then set up the mouse lighting and dpi, the click the onboard profiles tab to access the save to memory slot feature.

As awesome as the Corsair Strafe keyboard range is, they all generally suffer from one minor issue that causes a lot of user frustration. The inability to consistently save RGB colour profiles to the devices inbuilt memory. Basically the keyboards onboard memory becomes corrupted and doesn’t allow new profiles to be added and saved.

Select the device you want to configure a hardware profile for. Set your desired lighting effects and hardware actions in the HARDWARE ACTIONS and HARDWARE LIGHTING tabs on the left side menu. When you are finished, select ONBOARD PROFILES on the left side menu.
