FFXIV and Corsair Scimitar RGB mouse. I am just wondering if anyone has this mouse and how it interacts with FFXIV. There has only been 1 previous post that I could find about assigning keys but I haven't found any with play experience related to FFXIV. Select your Scimitar RGB Elite in iCUE. Click the + button in the ACTIONS tab. Click the dropdown menu at the bottom of the screen and select one of the options under REMAP. Choose a key in the bottom section of the screen. Select a button on the mouse to assign the key to. Create a macro. Open iCUE. Select your Scimitar RGB Elite in iCUE.

Select a button on the mouse to assign the key to. Open iCUE. Select your Scimitar RGB Elite in iCUE. Click the + button in the ACTIONS tab. Click the dropdown menu at the bottom of the screen and select MACRO. Click the record button (the button with the red circle) to begin recording your macro.
Open up iCUE. Select your mouse on the right. Hit "Actions" on the left panel. Choose the buttons on the right-hand side and select an action for each of the G keys.
On the preview image, select the mouse button you want to map the key assignment to. With iCUE, you can make your Corsair mouse more colorful by giving it customized lighting effects. To set up lighting effects: Select your mouse in iCUE. Click Lighting Effects in the left menu. Click the + button in the Lighting Layers window.
Just follow these steps: Download iCUE. Install the software, following the wizard. Open up iCUE. Select your mouse on the right. Hit "Actions" on the left panel. Choose the buttons on the right-hand side and select an action for each of the G keys. You should now be able to use all the buttons on the side that you programmed.
The Scimitar is an excellent mouse for MOBAs and MMORPGs, but it doesn't simply "work" out of the box. You need to do a little tinkering to get the buttons on the side of the pointer to work.
