Still, the Tiguan is one of the few vehicles in the compact SUV class to offer a third row, which can be handy if you need extra seating in a pinch. There are two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the second-row outboard seats and a tether anchor for the middle seat.
The second generation Tiguan was unveiled at the 2015 IAA in Frankfurt. The Tiguan Mark II and the Audi Q3 Mark II are built on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform. The model is produced at Wolfsburg, Puebla and Kaluga.
Volkswagen has given its compact SUV a handsome styling refresh for 2022 to help it look at home alongside the restyled Atlas and new Atlas Cross Sport mid-size SUVs. New LED headlamps, revised grille and bumpers, and new wheel designs give the 2022 Tiguan a more modern appearance.
