Jan 20, 2016 . Go to Device Manager on Windows 10..In the view menu, enable "Hidden Devices".. then delete all the USB Game controller hidden devices. I had the same problem on my laptop and it was because I had too many hidden devices in there. I guess it happens when you plug and unplug your game controller alot like I do.
