Trying to install Dark Rock Pro 4 on ASUS TUF x570 mobo The DRP4 manual says there should backplate bolts on the motherboard when I unscrew the plastic retainers, but I don’t see any. I just see large holes in the mobo that don’t fit the AMD spacer nuts and the screws aren’t long enough to reach through the spacers to the holes.

2x 140 intake fans are at the front. I have 1x 120mm exhaust at the back and one 1x 120mm exhaust at the top side of the case. Dark rock pro 4 is blowing towards the back (standard exhaust direction). There are some people on youtube and linustech who did a few tests and came to conclusion that this is the best setup for this case.

Well the dark rock pro 4 is as good as most 240mm AIOs and you save 40euro. Having good intake and exhaust fans is pretty important to reach such temps. I got 3 120mm and 2 140mm Bequiet fans for a silent and good airflow and I just paid 35euro for those 5 fans (germany)
It is also possible to add another 120mm fan for even better cooling. The mounting kit for the Dark Rock 4 cooler is completely black, perfectly matching the black design of the cooler itself. You can conveniently install the cooler on the motherboard from above.
