Frequently Asked Questions

  • What do you need to know about Deco?

Note: Features available in Deco may vary by model and software version. Deco availability may also vary by region or ISP. All images, steps, and descriptions in this guide are only examples and may not reflect your actual Deco experience. In this guide, the following conventions are used:

  • How does Deco mesh work in the home?

With advanced Deco Mesh Technology, units work together to form one unified whole-home network with the same network name. Devices automatically switch between Decos as you move through your home for the fastest possible speeds. What to do if I fail to configure the main Deco and get stuck on “Testing Internet Connection”?

  • Where can I find technical support for Deco?

    • A Technical Community is provided for you to discuss our products at https://community.tp-link.com. • Our Technical Support contact information can be found at the Help center of the Deco app and the Contact Technical Support page at https://www.tp-link.com/support.

  • Where is the stereo switch on a Strymon?

On the TimeLine and Mobius ONLY, make sure that the switch on the back of the pedal is set to STEREO IN/OUT. For all other Strymon two footswitch Strymon pedals, connect a standard mono TS instrument cable into the INPUT and connect a mono TS instrument cable to the LEFT OUTPUT of the pedal.

  • How does the blend control work on Strymon?

If the input is stereo, it is summed to mono. The input is then sent to the left output channel through the Reference Deck, and to the right output channel via the delayed Lag Deck to create an adjustable stereo spread. The Blend control acts as a Pan control by adjusting the relative levels of the decks.

  • How do you set a Deco to true bypass?

Press and hold down both BYPASS switches on the pedal as you plug in the power supply. Then, while still holding the switches down, turn the BLEND knob to light up either the TAPE SATURATION or DOUBLETRACKER BYPASS switch lights. The TAPE SATURATION light sets the Deco to True Bypass.
