Owner’s Manual – Dux Electric Boosted Solar 6 H3161 025248 Rev. D Hot Water Connection The hot water line should be connected to the “OUTLET” socket on the tank. Note: Once all connections have been properly made, fill tank by opening the cold water inlet and bleed all lines according to appropriate plumbing code.
The heater is supplied with cold water, which is isolated by a valve fitted to the cold water line. The cold water supply is on the left hand side of the heater, near the bottom and the handle of the valve might look like a round black knob. Shutting this valve will then shut off all hot water to the house.
Otherwise a suitably licensed tradesperson can adjust the thermostat to the minimum 60 Deg C setting if it is an electric storage heater. Give Dux a call, I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you or if the installer gave you his card... call him.
