The main eFilm Lite window is a workspace where you can view and manipulate DICOMDIR images stored on a CD. NOTE:eFilm Lite should launch automatically when you insert a CD with DICOMDIR images burned on it. If it does not launch, navigate to your CDROM directory and double-click eFilmLt.exe.
The 3.4 release includes the following new features: Disk Usage Notification — The Study Manager now includes a visual representation of disk usage based on the user-configured high and low disk thresholds (see "Reading the Disk Usage Bar" on page 89).
Users must be aware of the potential for errors. eFilm saves images together with patient information, both when saving to the local database and when exporting from eFilm. It is important to protect this data from access by unauthorized persons. Users should be aware that certain views make use of interpolated data.

Starting out as the first free medical imaging viewer, eFilm has evolved into many uses, including teaching, CD burning and QA back-up. However, the medical imaging market now contains many alternatives, and thus the eFilm user community has shrunk considerably.
The menu bar appears at the top of the window, and the status bar will appear at the bottom (if enabled). By default, the tool bar appears at the top of the window directly beneath the menu bar, but you can move it by following the procedure outlined in “Customizing the Toolbar” on page 11.
Note: We have just announced that eFilm Workstation will reach end of support on 6/30/2022 and we are not longer able to take sales orders after 4/30/2021. - You will be able to still download eFilm 4.3 in case you need a replacement install (Hard drive failure for example)
