Despite its shortcomings, the Amazon Echo Show is certainly a pretty useful device that can deliver nothing short of impeccable performance when used with multiple smart home devices. So apart from the display and smart speaker capabilities, the $150 price tag makes the Echo Show worth it even after Black Friday.
For those living in the U.S., the Echo Show can be purchased from Amazon.com. While the Echo Show has not been officially released in Canada yet, Canadians can now buy the Echo Show from Wantboard.
Select your Echo device, then tap Bluetooth, then select the speaker you want to pair with. That gives the Echo at least some of the additional flexibility that you get with the Echo Dot, a much smaller and less expensive Alexa speaker that's always been able to pair with external Bluetooth speakers.
The Echo Show is not AirPlay compatible, either. So you won't be able to stream content from your Show to your TV via Apple TV. Because it's Bluetooth compatible, though, you can connect your iPhone or iPad and stream music from your iTunes library or Apple Music.
