Eva-dry specifies that the E-500 can be used in spaces as large as 500 cubic feet and that the E-333 can be used in spaces as large as 333 cubic feet. While we don’t disagree that you could use these devices in spaces as large as 333 and 500 cubic feet, our recommendation is that you don’t.

The Eva-dry unit has a little element in it that acts like a food dehydrator. When the beads dark green color indicate they are full of moisture, I take the unit of out the safe, remove the small built-in electrical plug, then plug the unit in. It takes about 10-12 hours for the built-in dehydrator to dry out the beads.
