  The Fast-Stat Model 5000 adds additional HVAC control wiring between a thermostat and indoor unit. It provides R, C, G, Y, W1 & W2 connections over a 2-wire thermostat cable. Additional thermostat cable wires can be used for other functions. Before Installing This Product

• Do you need a fast stat or common Maker?

  Some houses have a C-wire already at the thermostat, but if not you will need to use either a Fast-Stat 1000, or a Fast-Stat Common Maker, depending on your household wiring. Common configurations found in houses that are covered in this guide are:

• How do you install a fast Stat thermostat?

  Insert the receiver module’s purple wire and your original Y-wire into a wire nut and twist until secure. Once all wires are secured, close the control panel door, and turn the power to the system back on. You may now continue with your installation process. Shut off the power to your thermostat and remove it from the wall.

• Where is the sender on the stat 1000?

  The receiver gets mounted next to your A/C control panel, and the sender goes behind your thermostat, tucked into the wall. To perform the installation you will need a small phillips screwdriver, a set of wire strippers/cutters, and the supplied wire nuts.

• How do you install a fast Stat thermostat?
