Results from the TVFool.com and Antennaweb.org Web sites are based on the same data and will show similar errors--GIGO. I'd be interested in readers’ comments on how well the FCC's Web page predicted reception at their location.

Feb 20, 2009 . For my location, the prediction for reception is pretty close to what I expect, but I get some of the "weak" stations which are already on their post-transition allotment just fine. So their model may shade on the conservative side. Still, a useful site to compare to antennaweb.org or tvfool.com to see what each of them say for a location.

DTV reception can often be improved just by changing the location of your current antenna, even as little as a few inches. For example, moving it away from other objects or placing it higher or lower can often improve reception. Be sure to move the antenna slowly to allow time for the signal received by the digital TV tuner to be displayed.
