This is actually the most common issue when a frame won't turn on. To check if this is the case please: Plug the AC adapter into a working power outlet; Then plug the AC Adapter cord into the frame. If your frame uses a stand, bypass the stand for now to charge the frame.

You can backup all your photos securely to a TF card (inserted), thus you can restore all your photos in case the photo frame is reset. You can also import your favorite photos from TF card to the photo frame
Sometimes the frame will power on but the screen will not. If this is the case you may see The screen is black, but if you look at it from an angle or in a dark room there is a slight glow. In either case please contact us to get a replacement.
If you can see a faint display, check the frame’s brightness settings by using your remote control. Go to Frame Settings and adjust the brightness. If the remote control to your NIX or Nixplay frame doesn’t appear to be working, try: Ensure there is no obstruction between the remote control and the frame.
