Jul 06, 2018 . Hi there, I’ve been searching for a driver for the Fibaro FGK-10x Door/Window sensors that also brings in temperature readings. Has anyone got them working ? I’ve been able to test a few different drivers for door sensors so that part is working but as these Fibaro units have the temp sensor in them, I thought they might as well be utilized, if possible.

Nov 12, 2018 . Open Window is detected by rapid change of temperature, when you open window, not by detecting open window with FGK-10x. This function needs to be there in standalone mode, so that is why it checks for rapid temperature. Maybe try to open window in less populated rooms, if you have FGT there, te check this function.

Check the latest posts in this thread. You may be able to find “old stock”, but in that case make sure you get the older "FGK-10x’ WITHOUT the built-in temperature sensor.

In addition the FIBARO Door/Window Sensor supports one DS18B20 temperature sensor and has one potential free input. Compatible with any Z-Wave or Z-Wave+ Controller (firmware 3.2 or higher)
Fast blinking means that the inclusion process has not been successful. FIBARO Door/Window Sensor has two TMP buttons: inside and underside the casing. Both buttons must be pressed simultaneously to trigger tamper functionality. Removing (Exclusion) – Z-Wave device learning mode, allowing to remove the device from existing Z-Wave network.
To add the device to the Z-Wave network: Place the Door/Window Sensor 2 within the direct range of your Z-Wave controller. Set the main controller into the adding mode (see the controller’s manual). Quickly, three times press one of the TMP buttons (while the other button is pressed). Wait for the adding process to end.
