Have you tried resetting it by pressing and holding the reset button in the pinhole between the power and volume buttons? Furthermore, if I try to change the mapping via the new menu options in 2.0.3, nothing changes as well! It is perfectly fine after using a reset button but it would have been nice to not have to use the reset button at all. Bluetooth: Fiio x1 (1st gen) does not have Bluetooth. Fiio did release the 2nd generation which has Bluetooth and if you really want Bluetooth, you can purchase an external Bluetooth adapter.
There are two ways to hard reset the X1. First way - Start>Settings>System>Clear Storage then enter the number 1234 and press Yes. Second way - Press and hold the two silver keys (left and right) situated just below the screen.
The X1 is a High Resolution file playing DAP that only costs $99 USD. You will see I will mention that several times in this review but it is very important to keep that small price in mind. Only $99! Am I already saying it is excellent then? Not at all.
