I know that there are two levels of brightness on the Inspire 2: Normal and DimScreen/SleepMode Normal mode is plenty bright indoors, but totally drowned out when it is sunny. It would be nice to have some sort of brightness control on the watch settings that has multiple levels of brightness to choose from rather than the binary DimScreen ON/OFF option.

If you can make out something on the screen, it’s likely your Fitbit is dimmed. Open the Settings app on your device. Tap Screen Brightness and change to Max (if available) or Normal from the options or choose off the Dim Screen option. Hi, i had this problem as well with Fitbit Inspire 2 and i found a fix for my situation. Mine was in 'Sleep mode' which is a quick setting that i accidentally activated. Sleep mode put the screen in a dimmed mode and mutes notifications, reminders, and the 'wrist flip display on' function.
