Aug 14, 2017 . In the new Taranis Q X7 there's an S.Port connector in the bottom of the radio. The manual just says it's for 'future use', so it isn't clear whether it is operational or not... I was asked to connect an FSD (FrSky S.Port Dashboard) to the Q X7. I thought I will just use this port at the bottom, but there seem to be no voltage there.

This is the latest powerful radio system from FrSky, the Taranis Q X7. This is a lightweight feature packed reliable system and it comes in black or white color scheme. The radio includes a Haptic Vibration Feedback System which provides an alternative feedback system to the voice and sound alert warnings.
The battery compartment now uses 2 18650 Li-Ion batteries and can be balance charged via the Mini USB interface.
And of course a module bay for use with JR-type modules that can be used with other protocol receivers and with the use of a FrSky XJT module. This radio can support up to 32-channels. Other features include Receiver Match, Real-Time Flight Data Logging and Super Low Latency for precision flying.
