GAMMA Remote Sensing and Consulting AG (GAMMA) is an innovative Swiss corporation (Aktiengesellschaft - AG) located near Bern, Switzerland. Our field covers radar remote sensing, data processing, interferometry, application development, research and microwave hardware development.
Abstract : Remote sensing is a technique to observe the earth surface or the. atmosphere from out of space using satellites (space borne) or from the air using. aircrafts (airborne). Remote sensing uses a part or several parts of the. electromagnetic spectrum.
In remote sensing various kinds of tools and devices are used to make electromagnetic radiation outside this range from 400 to 700 nm visible to the human eye, especially the near infrared, middle-infrared, thermal-infrared and microwaves.
There are a number of stages in a Remote Sensing process, and each of them is important for successful operation.
GAMMA Remote Sensing and Consulting AG (GAMMA) is an innovative Swiss corporation (Aktiengesellschaft - AG) located near Bern, Switzerland. Our field covers radar remote sensing, data processing, interferometry, application development, research and microwave hardware development.
The GAMMA Software is a commercial software developed and maintained by GAMMA. We are dedicated to keep the software at a very advanced level. Through our R&D projects and the many contacts to highly competent SAR/InSAR/PSI specialists, we get valuable inputs to the software development activities.
Following the increasing interest on the use of radar remote sensing data in bio- and geophysical applications, GAMMA offers a wide range of training courses covering theoretical as well as practical aspects of SAR data processing, interferometric SAR processing, PS-InSAR and related applications.
