If you're having issues with your Gizmo charging or not holding a charge, here are some helpful tips. If the device won't power on, press and hold the Power button for 5-10 seconds. If the device powers on, but doesn't hold a charge, power cycle the device then charge fully and re-test.

The watch uses a pin/contact type charger. The pins on the charger must make contact with the ends on the bottom of the watch. If those contacts are SLIGHTLY dirty (sweat alone will do this, even if they hardly sweat) it will stop charging. Verizon PLEASE gets another watch that uses a standard USB C charger.

It has to do with the poor design of the charging method: the charging contacts on the watch are a bit recessed, into which sweat/dirt/grime can accumulate. Then, the small prongs on the charger do not make good contact with these and it causes the watch not to be charged.

This is an issue with the charging mechanism, not the software. All I wanted was a refund or a credit for the purchase price of a watch that has a known issue. I wasn't even asking for a credit for the plan costs for a watch I can't use. Just a credit so that I could get a device that works. Correct Answer!
