You can find automatic vent openers at any garden center or online. They are fairly simple to install, all you need is a few minutes, a greenhouse, the automatic ventilation kit, and a screwdriver.

What are automatic greenhouse window openers? Automatic window openers work similarly to vent openers. They rely on a wax that expands when heated to move a piston in a tube which in turn opens the window.
The opening and closing is only based on temperature. So, if you are trying to use these on a sunroom rather than a greenhouse, you may want to consider this. Roof vents are a necessary feature for a greenhouse. Automatic openers are an option, but they will definitely make life much easier. And, they are not all that expensive.
Remove the cylinder and piston from the housing. Usually that simply requires a quick unscrewing. Some vent openers have a pin that keeps the piston attached to the housing. If there is any additional hardware that attaches the cylinder to the arm housing, be sure to put it in a safe place.
