Dec 07, 2005 . This is the manual for the HAIMER GmbH 3D sensor, and would probably also apply to the import copies. It's a kind of glorified edgefinder which can also be used to make a sort of poor man's CMM out of a mill with DRO. Here's a page in English about it on the manufacturer's site. It can be easily read from a long distance (i.e. when mounted on a large machining center). The digital display is water- and dust-proofed according to IP 64 and can be stored in the tool magazine of the machine. Please take note: The given measuring precision of 0.005 mm only applies, if the original HAIMER probe tips are used.

All Universal 3D-Sensors are individually tested and adjusted when being assembled in order to achieve a maximum of measuring precision. The Sensor is waterproof according to IP 67. Please take note: The given measuring precision of 0.01 mm / 0.0004" only applies if the original HAIMER probe tips are used.
