In order to update your ECU you’ll need the latest version of the Haltech ESP software which can be downloaded off our website or through the “ESP Online” portal if you’ve already got a previous version of ESP on your laptop.

The DataLink software is used to both set up and configure the Haltech IQ3 Street Dash. It will be used to modify any settings, page layouts, warning light settings, etc. The DataLink software requires a Windows based PC with a USB 2.0 port for communication. Programming cable is supplied in the kit.
You can now control your Elite functions in real time from inside the cabin using the Haltech Trim Module. Torque management, boost levels, nitrous control, ignition correction and other functions can now be accessed and controlled via a cabin-mounted switch panel.

The software relates to System Utilities. ECUManager.exe or ECU Manager.exe are the common file names to indicate the Haltech ECU Manager installer. Haltech ECU Manager is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 environment, 32-bit version. The following versions: 17.1, 1.1 and 1.0 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
Select “Startup in MSDOS mode”, once done you can run the Software. This Haltech program is designed to work with early DOS Operating Systems. In some cases it may work with Win95 or Win98 but if you still have problems communicating with the ECU you will need to do the following.
Version 3.5 software MUST be used on old laptops with windows 3.1 or earlier. This software will not work on a laptop with windows 98 or later, nor will this program run under DOS emulation programs such as DOSbox or virtual PC. Please note: This Haltech program is designed to work with early DOS Operating Systems.
