Jun 30, 2015 . I use a thong cut from 7/8 oz. cowhide about 1/8" in width. This needs to be long enough to allow connection to the holster and form the loop slightly longer than the Hammer spur rises above the holster mouth. I mount the thong with two holes punched into the back side of the holster in line with the point where the cylinder and frame meet.

The Hammer handle slides into the sleeve, and the sleeve is tight enough to retain it’s grip on the Hammer, but not too tight – it’s not at all difficult to remove the Hammer from the pouch when you want to use it. There’s also a second smaller sleeve that I like using for a tack Hammer that I use a lot.

Jan 09, 2022 . I really like the 1791 holsters, but my last 2 holsters have been lock leather holsters. High quality, great fit, comfortable IWB and has a 'locking mechanism' inside the holster. I have tried to shake out my 1911 4" and cannot, yet after just a few practice draws, I cannot really even feel the lock.

Feb 21, 2022 . Sig 226 holsters or ammo trades are possible. I bought this new from a dealer and it comes w night sights, 2 21-round mags and 1 17-round mag. including a Bladetech holster. Adopted by the USMC. I have fired under 100 rounds. Switched back to Hammer/fired Sigs although the “trend” is to newer designs. Cash only. I have a CHL and am known.

The Holster rides behind your dominant side pouch with the head at your Hammer at your fingertips and the handle in a padded sleeve that protects your legs and knees as well as your surroundings.
Point the revolver in a safe direction. Pull the Hammer back to the second notch (or click). Push the Hammer block into the up (safe) position as shown. Always keep the Hammer block in theup position, except when actually firing.
