This pump is great. I haven't had a single issue since I installed it. The only "negative" about the pump is it's a little loud when it runs late at night when it's really quiet, but that really isn't a fault on the pump. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate this pump a solid 9 and would recommend it to any of my friends & coworkers.

Jan 24, 2017 . Jan 24, 2017. Location: Pennsylvania. Hello, I have a Hartell ltp-1 pump I use for my utility sink/ clothes washer. Sometimes the sink fills up by the pump does not kick on until I give a light tap on the PVC vent tubing. Should I take it apart to clean it , replace the float switch. Any suggestions would be helpful.
