In order to talk with someone in Technical Support you will need the following: Your name; Serial Number of your freeze dryer (found on the back of the unit) Your freeze dryer “log files.” These files contain all the information about how the freeze dryer has been working.
Power off your freeze dryer and wait for 10 seconds. Power your freeze dryer back on and wait for the files to load onto the thumb drive. This could take a few seconds, or a few minutes, depending on how many batches you have run. You will know that it has finished when the screen comes back to “Start” on your freeze dryer.

At peak, the freeze dryer draws about 16 amps, but on the average about 9 to 11 amps (990-1210 watts) of power per hour. A dedicated 20 amp circuit is recommended. Your freeze dryer will cost an estimated $1.25-$2.80 a day, depending on power costs in your area.
The simple freezer method. The easiest way to freeze dry food is the one that also takes the longest. All you need to do is place your food in small pieces on a tray such as a cookie sheet, or a cooling rack or air drying rack and simply put it in your freezer. A deep freezer works best.
