HAWAII ENERGY CONNECTION is a locally owned, nationally recognized solar PV integrator, dedicated to providing affordable energy solutions in Hawaii. Our systems are right-sized to achieve peak energy production, maximize available incentives, and ultimately shrink your electric bill.
Solar power provided half of Hawaii's renewable generation in 2017, primarily because of the growth of distributed rooftop solar photovoltaic electricity generation, which has nearly doubled since 2014. Hawaii is one of seven states with utility-scale generation from geothermal energy.
Be energy smart. We encourage and reward practical, everyday energy-saving decisions. We’re here to help you make smart energy choices. Our role is to make it easy for everyone in Hawaii to play their part in the clean energy movement.
Hawaii is one of seven states with utility-scale generation from geothermal energy. In 2017, 3.2% of Hawaii's net electricity generation came from geothermal energy. Hawaii's heavy dependence on imported petroleum for electricity generation and its isolated island grids contribute to the state having the highest U.S. retail power prices.
