The 400A model saw a redesign of the fuel system, a longer flight range, and a higher takeoff weight. From there, the design underwent even more revisions, materializing in the Hawker 400XP, a private jet that Hawker Beechcraft calls its “best-selling light jet.”
With seating for 5 and increased cabin height, you’ll enjoy a comfortable flight no matter what you choose to do. The Hawker 400XP is the product of years of revision by Raytheon’s Beechjet Aircraft Corporation. They originally purchased the production rights for the jet from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan.
It was produced over 30 years under the names such as Mitsubishi Diamond/Diamond II, Beechjet 400/400A, and Hawker 400XP; military version T-1 Jayhawk was also produced. In total, over 900 Hawker 400s have been delivered.
Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400 XP pilot training is available at Learning Centers in London Farnborough, United Kingdom, and Wichita, Kansas. Maintenance technicians train at our Wichita Maintenance Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas.
