The Hawker 200 cabin entry is via an air stair door located on the port side of the fuselage forward of the wing. Cabin dimensions are 13.5ft in length, 5.4ft in height, and 5.5ft in width. The Beechcraft Hawker 200 features a contoured cabin headliner that increases passenger headroom, adjustable LED downwash lighting and passenger reading lights.
The history of Hawker Beechcraft originated in 1994 when Raytheon merged its Beech Aircraft Corporation and Raytheon Corporate Jets units. In 2006, Raytheon sold the company to a consortium of Goldman Sachs and Onex Corporation.
Originating from the 1962 de Havilland DH.125 medium-sized corporate jet, the Hawker Beechcraft 750 is a light-to-midsize jet based on the 800 model. The Hawker 750 has more baggage space and a larger cabin than its predecessor, even claimed as the largest cabin in the class by Hawker.
In February 2010, Hawker Beechcraft delivered its first Hawker 4000 to a customer in mainland China. As of May 2013, Hawker-Beechcraft is offering its jet division, including the Hawker 4000 project, for sale. The company intends to focus on propeller-driven aircraft; leaving the future of the Hawker 4000 up to an eventual buyer.
Research private jet performance, specifications and history of this model. The Beechjet 400A Small Jet was manufactured by Beech between 1990 and 2003. The cabin measures 15.5 feet long by 4.9 feet wide by 4.8 feet tall giving it a total cabin volume of 305 cubic feet.
FAA certification of the Beechjet 400A was granted in December 1989 and in 2004 Raytheon changed the model designation to Hawker 400XP. Production of the 400XP continues to the present with 241 aircraft produced through 2008, however in October of 2008 Hawker Beechcraft announced an upgraded version of the 400XP which will be called the 450XP.
The Hawker 400 is a small twin-engine jet corporate aircraft. Initially designed and built by Mitsubishi, it has been further developed and updated by the Beech Aircraft Company, now part of Hawker Beechcraft.
With such strong design features, it is not surprising that the Beechjet 400A serves as the basis for the military T-1 Jayhawk tanker and transport aircrew trainer. The 400A has been continuously redesigned, and has now evolved into Raytheon’s successful Hawker 400.
