Download the latest firmware updates and bug fixes for your Hawkeye Firefly Q6 action camera here. Delete all the files and folders in the tf card (suggest:8G/16G). Download the firmware（LD96660A.BIN and FIREFLYQ.bin） to tf card . Put the tf card into FIREFLY 7S (make sure battery > 50%).

Before you switch on the Firefly 8SE make sure that you have a compatible and high-speed MicroSD card plugged into the card slot. Format it after switching on the camera and you are good to go. The Hawkeye Firefly 8SE is basically a low-cost action camera.

On the left side of the camera, there are two ports. One is a micro USB port and the other is a micro HDMI port. For a start, the MicroSD card slot is directly at the back of the camera rather than the side. There are some advantages to it, especially if you are planning to mount the camera as a dashcam.
With the Firefly 8SE, on the other hand, you have to either press the right arrow button (explained later in this review) to get to a screen and then choose Setup or touch the settings shortcut on the LCD display (logo at the right corner of the screen).
