To reset a hot tub heater you need to locate the red reset button which will probably be on the heater in the service bay of the hot tub. All you need to do is to press it to reset it and everything should be good to go.
A hot tub control panel acts as a timer, keeps the temperature constant, turns off the spa if you forget to, and helps troubleshoot problems with your spa. This is why it is important to keep the control panel in good working order.
A blinking red light on the control panel may indicate it needs to be reset. For most models you will turn off the power to the spa for a minute or two and then turn it back on. Turn on the lower amp breaker first if you have a hot tub powered by 240 volts.
If no messages are seen, run through all spa functions and note any inconsistent operation. Once you have determined that proper voltage is running through the circuit board and transformer, continue to the topside control panel.
