Hold it in intell the info comes on. in the window it will show all the things you can reset. using the arrows to the right of the knob find tire reset the push on the station knob. this will reset it. then go back to the arrows and find end. push on the knob one more time and you will be done. ( you have to make sure the radio is off).

Volkswagen recommends that when you head to the pump with your 2018 VW Tiguan you fill it up with high-quality premium fuel. With that being said, in this case it is a recommendation and not a requirement. You could choose to use regular fuel in its place.
The 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan is a two- or three-row SUV that comes in six trim levels: S, SE, SEL, SEL R-Line, SEL Premium and SEL Premium R-Line. All Tiguans are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine (184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque) that's connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
To perform this procedure, Volkswagen VAS 5051B is required. 1. Read out tire pressure sensor IDs before installation. 2. Switch TPMS to wheel set 2. 3. Enter needed specified tire pressures and sensor IDs into system. NOTE: Whenever a wheel is changed or replaced, or whenever vehicle has been loaded, the TPM system needs to be reset.

I don't know where it is on your Golf, but on my Passat it's located in the glove box. There is a reset control for your tire pressure monitor. All you gotta do it push and hold the reset button. Full instructions are in your Owners Manual.
