Mic monitoring on these is immaculate. Unlike other headsets, the mic monitoring does not decrease in volume when you lower game volume. There is a game/chat mix option.

The HyperX Cloud Flight S doesn’t come with much in the box—just the headset, its detachable 3.5mm mic, and the microUSB charging cord. What is it like to use the HyperX Cloud Flight S? The headset’s power button and surround sound button sit on its left ear cup, while its volume dial are on the right one.
The Cloud Flight S is built on a predominantly plastic frame, with a single strip of metal running along the inside of the headband. However, unlike many all-plastic gaming headsets, it doesn’t feel cheap at all.

The ear cups rotate 90° to rest comfortably around your neck during breaks, and feature convenient controls for LED effects, mic mute, power, and volume. The detachable noise-cancelling mic helps ensure that your communications are heard crystal clear, and Cloud Flight has been certified by TeamSpeak and Discord.
The HyperX Cloud flights can be used with a wire also but the cloud 2 come with a 7.1 virtual surround card. I think the sound card makes it a little louder and gives a little more sense of openess.
