If you wish to install it outdoors, you must beware of not exposing it to water or harsh conditions. •During installation you must be sure of grounding the IGuard back metal panel to Earth to prevent electrical impulses and shocks from affecting users or the IGuard terminals.
This robust controller features high-speed microprocessors, and high accuracy AC measurements. The IGuard is a menu driven system, organized by "stacks", with "sub- stacks" where required. User connections are made via the plug in connectors on the rear of the controller.
To test whether the IGuard is functioning in the network, try to PINGthe device from your PC. •On your PC, go to Run Command from Start Menu. •Type 'ipconfig " to check the IP address of your PC and make sure it is in the same network as IGuard.
