The Ili9486L samples the SDA (input data) at the rising edges of SCL (serial clock), but shifts SDA (output data) at falling edges of SCL (serial clock). After the read status command has been sent, the SDA line must be set to tri-state no later than at the falling edge of SCL of the last bit.
Ili9486L supplies 3-lines/ 9-bit and 4-line/8-bit bi-directional serial interfaces for communication between the host and Ili9486L. The 3-line serial mode consists of the chip enable input (CSX), the serial clock input (SCL) and serial data Input/Output (SDA).
Restriction Ili9486L is sending 2nd parameter value on the data lines if the MCU wants to read more than one parameter (= more than 2 RDX cycle) on parallel MCU interface. Only 2nd parameter is sent on DSI (The 1st parameter is not sent).
