DataLink User Interface In addition to the user interface provided directly by the controls in the graphics display, the DataLink program also provides control of the program through a series of pull down menus and toolbars.
Before you begin we would like to review some important facts about the DataLink package. First the DataLink package is licensed to the end user for use with one onboard data logger system. If you have multiple data logger systems you will need to purchase additional packages for use with the additional data loggers.
Although the DataLink Lite version of the Racepak software does not contain complex math channel capabIlities you can use any of the standard three ratio channels to provide converter or clutch and transmission slip information.
DataLink Lite does not support math functions. If you have purchased DataLink Standard or DataLink Pro software, the following mathematics functions are supported. The functions can be used in both the expressions used to define math data channels and in the expressions used to define calculated variables within the run log pages.
The DataLink Technologies GW1000-ABEIP is a flexible and affordable solution to these AB options. The GW1000 features a single converter platform that can be changed to various protocols including ASCII, DF1, and Modbus RTU to Allen-Bradley DH+ / DH-485.
The DataLink Technologies GW1000 is has several protocol options in its converter which will allow you to change between DF1 conversions to AB’s DH+, ASCII to DH+, and the most common solution includes our DataLink GW1000-ABEIP, Ethernet/IP to Allen-Bradley DH+.
A. The DataLink GW1000 will work great connecting your Panelview Plus on AB Ethernet/IP to message with your SLC 5/04 on Data Highway Plus DH+. Your can also add other Ethernet connections for a total of 5 which could include RSLINX/LOGIX on Ethernet to perform PLC programming on your DH+ nodes.
