I purchased this along with the Innovo fingertip pulse oximeter as a package. I do get slightly different readings with the forehead thermometer than I do with a standard digital thermometer, but I think that is normal (the standard digital thermometer rarely gets the same readings twice either). This thermometer is VERY quick to get a reading.
