Remote Control - Switches can be remotely controlled from almost any device in your home: Sensors monitoring doors, windows, leaks and more, remotes, keypads and other wall switches throughout your home, even your smartphone when used with the Insteon Hub.
Insteon labels itself the most-reliable home automation technology using both existing wires (power line) and radio frequency communication. They add smart home technology to lighting, appliances, and much more. Insteon products are fully compatible with one-another.
Set up a hub master Go to Transportation management > Setup > Rating > Accessorial masters. Click New. In the Accessorial master field, type a value. In the Name field, type a value. In the Accessorial type field, select 'Hub'. Click Save. Close the page.
Insteon hub is a third-party integration-friendly device that works with other ZigBee, Z-Wave devices. It's also HomeKit-enabled and supports Amazon Alexa. What we loved about the smart hub is that it connects with unlimited devices. Other hubs link to a much more limited number of devices, and it's nice that Insteon provides such freedom.
